The villages: where you land matters

Peachtree City is organized into villages, each with its own schools, shopping, and personality. Aberdeen and Glenloch are the original villages with established trees and 1970s–80s homes. Braelinn is family-central with larger lots. Kedron has newer construction and quick access to Highway 74 shopping. Wilksmoor, on the west side, holds much of the newest construction near Line Creek. Homes on cul-de-sacs along the cart paths are the classic Peachtree City buy but note for move day: some path-side homes have long, narrow driveways that decide whether a 26-foot truck can stage at your door or your movers need a longer carry.

Golf cart life is real (and it affects moving)

Most households here own a golf cart, teenagers legally drive them to school at 15 with a licensed adult (and solo at 16), and you can reach nearly every school, shopping center, and restaurant without touching a road. Moving notes from experience: your golf cart is often the last thing loaded and first thing delivered, tell your movers it exists, because it changes truck loading order.

Schools and commutes

A typical 3-bedroom Braelinn or Kedron home runs a 3–4 mover crew for a day; apartments and townhomes off Highway 54 usually take a 2–3 mover crew a morning. HOA rules in most villages are relaxed about moving trucks for the day, but a few townhome communities require advance notice for staging.
